- Doctor dictates a report through handheld voice recorder (DVR) or Telephone Dictation System (TDS) or PDA.
- Voice files are sent to Mediscribes server through ezVoiceIntelligence (ezVI).
- Files are routed to qualified transcriptionists to type the dictation.
- Transcribed files are checked for quality assurance at three levels.
- Transcribed reports are transferred to Mediscribes’ HIPAA-compliant server.
- Doctor or authorized personnel has secured access to the reports through our web-based file-monitoring interface (eTranscribe).
- Referral letters are faxed by Mediscribes.
- Documents are auto-printed at doctor’s office.
- Mediscribes’ data dispatch specialists integrates transcribed reports in the EMR, if requested by client.
